Tough Bags
Tough Bags, occasionally called Cardboard Envelopes, are a strong cardboardmailer with a peal and seal adhesive closure.
Each tough bag envelope is constructed from two layers of paper for greater puncture resistance, being brown inside and white outside. This paper is then folded on either end to add strength to each corner, and further assist in the protection of the contents. To securely seal each tough bag, there is an aggressive adhesive closure in the form of a peal and seal strip. Using a quality adhesive such as this help prevent any tampering with the packaging whilst it is in the postal system. Tough Bags are most commonly used for packaging non-fragile items, such as clothing and magazines. They are however suitable for a multitude of other uses.
From an environmental perspective, Tough Bags are one of the most environmentally friendly packaging solutions. Not only are our bags recyclable, but they are also made from 50% recycled content. Our envelopes are individually printed with the recycling symbol, to inform people that the bags can be recycled.

Note that size #9 has a 115mm gusset/expansion, and needs to be stapled closed (no peal and seal closure is available).
